The Capital Investment Initiative supported by Enterprise Ireland and European Union Regional Development fund has supported an investment in new equipment providing Grady Window Manufacturer Ltd. t/a Grady Joinery with a competitive edge.

Our Company has invested in new manufacturing equipment including a 5 axis Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machine. This machine is producing components previously make by three (3) individual machines and therefore provides Grady Joinery with more flexibility, accuracy, increased output and improved speed of the assembly of doors and door frames.
This CNC Machine makes it possible for us to offer an enhanced Door Range which in turn possesses the potential for capturing additional higher value sales through existing and also new customers.

The said investment was also extended to a Single Side Edge Bander machine enabling us to meet the increased demand for door security and fire safety in respect of windows and doors, particularly in the UK market.

With the purchased equipment which increased our flexibility we can now also support door heights to over 2.44m (8ft),a popular choice in many High-End Developments. This is critical for achieving sales in shared entrance scenarios and in markets beyond the UK and Ireland, where such higher doors are much more common.

A new machine, namely ItalPresse, was also installed which enables the Company to achieve faster cycle times and increased output. This new machinery does greatly enhance the above described equipment
